The West Norfolk Stakes , of 5 sovereigns each, half forfeit, with £50 added. Half-bred horses allowed 7 lbs. and the winner to be sold for £100, if claimed in the usual way. Heats. About one mile and a half. Three years old, 7st. 5lb.; 4 years old, 8st. 7lb.; 5 years old, 9st. 1lb.; 6 years old and aged, 10st. 2lb.; mares and geldings allowed 3lb.

The Hunters' Stakes , of 2 sovereigns each, with £25 added. Heats. About one mile and a half. To carry 12 stones (horses hunted in West Norfolk during last season to be allowed 7lbs.) - 4 hurdles topped with furze.
