Eight late Victorian families

These pages focus on the eight families into which our grandparents were born. We call them "late Victorian" since the period in which they lived corresponds roughly to the later part of Queen Victoria's reign, which was from 1837 to 1901. Our grandparents were:

  • John Cornish Rodliffe and Lilian Rickard
  • Charles Hamson and Alice Evans (born Loasby)
  • Thomas Fiddaman Blomfield and Beatrice May Ollett
  • Horace Frost and Phoebe Annie Selby
